Carl Barks was 54 and the year was 1955. The Old Duck Man was at the height of his story-telling when he did "The Fabulous Philosopher's Stone." This treasure-trekking adventure inspired Barks to paint his final legendary Another Rainbow oil, "The Stone That Turns All Metals Gold," which was produced as
a pricey limited edition continuous-tone lithograph. (SOLD OUT!)
