Walt Disney’s Uncle Scrooge #297 (April 1996)

"Of Ducks and Dimes and Destinies" is also considered by Don Rosa to be "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Part 0". Scrooge relates how he came to earn his Lucky Number One dime as a young shoeshine boy in Scotland. Unbeknownst to the little 10-year old shoeshine boy, Magica De Spell figures into Scrooge getting his first dime! Also included in this issue is "No Dime for Stardom" written by the Egmont Group and drawn by Daniel Branca, where Magica is trying to get Scrooge's Number One Dime again - this time as disguised as a rat and an actress.
